Closing Plenary – Michael Jenkins

June 24, 2010
By admin

As part of the wrap up to Katoomba XVII Michael Jenkins gives us his closing thoughts.  It’s been a jam-packed two days of talks and networking with an overriding sense of optimism and potential for PES and REDD in Southeast Asia.  The challenge in going forward will be to keep the momentum building and consolidate the networking and potential for development that has been stimulated by this event.

The remaining Katoomba delegates are heading out on a three-day field trip to go grapple with mangroves and aquaculture projects.  This leaves a little more work to be done on this website as, due to bandwidth challenges, the website requires more work than time has allowed.  Watch this space for more video and Katoomba XVII related resources over the next week or two…

Many thanks to all for the myriad of contributions and great feedback!

The Katoomba Conference Team.
